Who it is for

Signs your website needs a rescue.

Most broken websites have one clear cause. Finding it quickly is the whole job.

It was hacked. Strange pages in Google, redirects to other sites, spam emails sent from your domain, or a red warning in the browser. We remove the malware, close the way in and change every password.

It is down or showing an error. A blank white screen, “There has been a critical error”, a “Not secure” warning, or a site that stopped loading when the hosting or domain renewal lapsed.

It broke after an update. A plugin, theme or WordPress update that took the layout, the contact form or the whole site with it. We roll back what broke and update it properly.

Your web person disappeared. Nobody knows where the site is hosted or who has the logins. We trace the hosting and domain, recover access and put it back in your name.

What we fix

What a website rescue covers.

One fixed price for the problem you have today, plus the checks that stop it coming straight back.

01

Hacked website repair

WordPress malware removal, spam pages and redirects cleaned out, unknown admin accounts removed, passwords changed, and help asking Google to clear a security warning.

02

Errors and white screens

Critical errors, database connection errors and pages that won’t load, traced to the plugin, theme, server setting or file that caused them.

03

Security warnings

Expired or missing SSL certificates, “Not secure” and mixed content warnings, fixed so every page loads over HTTPS.

04

Broken updates

Layouts, menus and contact forms that broke after an update, rolled back or repaired, then brought up to date the safe way.

05

Website takeover

Lost logins and an unreachable developer. We find the hosting and domain accounts, recover access and hand control back to you.

06

Hosting and domain problems

Lapsed renewals, a domain pointing to the wrong place, or email and website settings that stopped working after a move.

How it works

Three steps. Usually two days.

  1. Tell us what’s wrong

Send your website address and what you are seeing, or call. We look at the site before we reply, at no cost, and tell you whether a rescue is the right fix.

  2. You give us access

Logins for your hosting, WordPress and domain, shared securely. We back up everything before changing anything, and the 48 hours start here.

  3. Fixed, with a report

Your site is working again. You get a short report: what was wrong, what we changed, and what keeps it from happening again.

After the rescue

Keep it working, or start fresh.

Most broken websites broke because nobody was looking after them. A care plan from $99 per month keeps the updates, backups and monitoring going, with hosting included. If your site is past saving or simply out of date, a Launch Website costs $1,250, or $0 down and $149 per month, and the $450 rescue is credited in full.

A few useful answers

Website repair questions.

What does a website rescue cost?

$450, fixed. It covers finding the cause, the fix itself, a backup before and after, updates, and a short written report. If you build a new website with us afterwards, the $450 is credited in full.

How fast can you fix my website?

We start working within 48 hours of getting access to your hosting, WordPress and domain, and most rescues are finished within that time. If something outside our control is involved, such as a host or Google reviewing a warning, we tell you what we are waiting for.

What if it can’t be fixed for $450?

We tell you before doing anything more, with a clear price for the rest, and you decide. If the honest answer is that the site needs replacing, we say so, and the $450 counts toward the new one.

My website was hacked. Will it happen again?

We remove the malware, close the way in that we find, remove accounts that shouldn’t be there and change the passwords. Most hacks come from out-of-date plugins, so keeping the site updated afterwards matters most. A care plan does that for you.

My site isn’t on WordPress. Can you still help?

Most of the websites we rescue run on WordPress. If yours uses something else, send us the address and we will tell you straight away whether we can help.

I can’t reach the person who built my site. What now?

That is a common reason people call us. We work out where the site and domain are registered, help you recover access through the host or registrar, and make sure every account ends up in your name.
