Set its size in <em>Logo Settings \u2192 Image logo width<\/em>, with a separate width for phones. Use 0 to show the image at its own size.<\/li>\n<li>Without an image, Modality shows the site title as a text logo. <em>Logo Settings<\/em> sets its font, size, weight, color and letter case, and can show the tagline underneath.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>The top section<\/h2>\n<p><em>Display Top Header Section<\/em> adds a thin bar above the header with your <em>Address<\/em>, <em>Phone Number<\/em> and <em>Email<\/em>. The phone and email become tap-to-call and tap-to-email links. You can also show your social icons there, and hide the bar on phones.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"hcwd-shot\"><a href=\"https:\/\/hillcityweb.com\/themes\/wp-content\/uploads\/hcw-docs\/modality\/customizer-header.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/hillcityweb.com\/themes\/wp-content\/uploads\/hcw-docs\/modality\/customizer-header.jpg\" alt=\"Header Settings with the top section, header layout, search and header button\" width=\"1440\" height=\"900\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\"><\/a><figcaption>Header &amp; Menu \u2192 Header Settings.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2>Header layout<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Header layout<\/em>: logo left with the menu right, logo centered with the menu below, or logo left with the menu below.<\/li>\n<li><em>Show a search button<\/em> adds a search icon that opens a search field.<\/li>\n<li><em>Header button text<\/em> and <em>Header button URL<\/em> add a button at the end of the menu, for example \u201cBook now\u201d or \u201cGet a quote\u201d.<\/li>\n<li><em>Header Background Color<\/em> and its opacity. A header image (<em>Header Background Image<\/em>) shows behind the whole header, under the color.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Sticky header<\/h2>\n<p>Turn on <em>Sticky Menu<\/em> in <em>Navigation Settings<\/em> to keep the header at the top while visitors scroll. <em>Make the sticky header smaller when scrolling<\/em> shrinks it once the page moves.<\/p>\n<h2>Menus<\/h2>\n<p>Modality has two menu locations: <strong>Primary Menu<\/strong> in the header and <strong>Footer Menu<\/strong> at the bottom. Assign them in <em>Customize \u2192 Menus<\/em> or <em>Appearance \u2192 Menus<\/em>. Dropdowns work with the mouse, by tap and with the keyboard, and open the other way when there is no room on the right.<\/p>\n<p><em>Navigation Settings<\/em> sets the menu font, size, letter case and colors, and <em>Switch to the mobile menu below<\/em> sets the screen width (768 px by default) where the menu turns into a menu button.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Everything above the page content is in Customize \u2192 Header &amp; Menu.
