It needs WordPress 6.4 or newer and PHP 7.4 or newer, and needs no plugins.<\/p>\n<h2>Install the theme<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>In your dashboard go to <em>Appearance \u2192 Themes \u2192 Add New<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>Search for <strong>Modality<\/strong>, click <em>Install<\/em>, then <em>Activate<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>Modality updates from WordPress.org like any other theme, under <em>Dashboard \u2192 Updates<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Start with the sample site<\/h2>\n<p>On a brand-new site, <em>Appearance \u2192 Customize<\/em> previews a starter site: a front page with a slider and sections, About, Blog and Contact pages, two sample posts, a menu and footer widgets. Nothing is saved until you click <em>Publish<\/em>, and you can change or delete every piece afterwards. On a site that already has content, WordPress skips the starter site.<\/p>\n<h2>The Modality page<\/h2>\n<p><em>Appearance \u2192 Modality<\/em> is your starting point.
