My changes don’t show on the site

Usually a cache. Purge your caching plugin (for example LiteSpeed Cache → Purge All) and your host’s cache, then reload with Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + R. Menus or settings changed by code or another plugin may not clear the cache on their own.

The menu doesn’t appear in the header

Go to Appearance → Menus → Manage Locations and assign your menu to Primary Menu. With the header & footer builder, also check that the header has a menu element.

Front page sections don’t show

Sections only show on a static front page: Settings → Reading → A static page. Then check that Customize → Front Page → Front page shows is set to Sections.

A Pro notice says the theme is missing or too old

Terrifico Pro needs the free Terrifico theme, active and up to date. Use the notice’s Install, Activate or Update button.

The license won’t activate

  • Check the key for spaces, and that it isn’t already used on as many sites as your plan allows; deactivate it on an old site first.
  • Your server must be able to make outgoing HTTPS requests to hillcityweb.com. Some security plugins and firewalls block this; ask your host to allow it.

A demo import stopped

Open Terrifico → Demos again and continue; the import picks up where it stopped. On slow hosts, closing other admin tabs helps. If it keeps failing, remove the demo and import it again.

Elementor pages look boxed or have a sidebar

Check Customize → Global → Container (full width for Elementor pages is on by default) and the page’s Terrifico Layout box.
